The Success of Rejection

 

Tears rolling down the eyes, few droplets remaining, forgetting their way as the path was swept from beneath them  consequently blurring the vision with waves of sadness. The salty release calmly flowed in thy mouth so that he could taste his own sorrow.

That night was a bad one for Logan indeed. How some things affects the perception of other things happening around and sometimes even ruin them is a matter of beauty. 

Logan being a student, applied to a bunch of famous universities, luckily one of them offered him admission. Although the scholarship decision was yet to come but he was already flying in clouds. His smile couldn't widen anymore, and the teeth were sparkling white spreading the shine of joy. 

After a few months when other results came ,He wasn't offered admission there, not to his surprise they were the Ivies!

 So He began to think about the one that offered him admission, like is it good enough as Ivy League schools, or are the courses better than Ivies. And soon When he decided  his majors He got to know they didn't had the subbranch there!(felt stupid for sometime but that could happen even to me). Because everyday you learn something new, somethings change and he learnt that the other major could have a greater scope of opportunity for him.

Mostly till the time you find new and better ways for success, the time had already fleeted away. Its a feeling of Hiraeth!(homesickness for a home you cant return to or never had!)

Humans tend to have the fastest mood swings and change of opinions. There's one fine breezy night where you feel you want a happy life, calm, settled, and cool. But, Just the next day a wave of hustle hits you and now a luxurious, hardworking and not-so-ordinary life with some really tough situations carrying success in its arms is waiting for you.

This Rejection turned every setback into another lesson, another chance to use tiny fragments of light etched into his brain, fragments that in time would unite to become what he is today. The alchemist that turns loss into victory ; the golden one with a golden touch. And so, regardless of the length of the road, Logan's destination was assured.
